Where they started
Each branch has its own shelves, prices and staff, and cannot stop selling when the internet does:
- A branch should only see its own stock and prices, not everyone's.
- Online orders arrive at the till, where staff must prepare them and tell the customer.
- Stock moves between branches, and each move needs a clear record.
- The owner needs to oversee every branch without being able to change a sale.
- Different people need different powers: cashier, manager and owner.
