Where they started
Nomat sells from several branches, and its stock is always changing:
Customers had no way to see the range or check stock without calling or visiting.
Tiles are bought by the box and the square metre, so size, coverage and thickness matter before a customer commits.
Stock is shared across branches, so an online order must never promise what no branch has.
Payment, collection and delivery all had to work for customers across Ghana, with updates they could trust.
Running costs had to stay low, with a shop that could be hosted separately from the business's own systems.
What we did
We built the shop as its own site and database, kept separate from the business systems and fed by them:
A published catalogue. Only products switched to Publish online, with a title, category and photo, appear. Publishing in the admin dashboard refreshes the shop straight away.
A 3D tile preview built from each tile's real size and thickness, which the customer can turn, with box coverage worked out for them.
One clear stock status per product, checked again when the customer pays, so an order is only taken for stock that exists.
Payment and fulfilment: MoMo or card through Paystack, collection at a chosen branch or delivery by zone, and a Find my order page that needs the order number or collection code and the customer's phone.
Email and WhatsApp. Customers get confirmation emails, and messages when their order is ready or on its way; the contact page opens WhatsApp with their message ready to send.
Fast and found by search, with pre-built pages, structured data, share images and AI-training crawlers asked to stay out.
The shop opens on a full-screen photo carousel of finished rooms, with the promise in one line: tiles, bathtubs and washroom fittings from Nomat branches across Ghana, paid with MoMo or card, then collected in store or delivered to site.
Two clear buttons lead on, and a category carousel below takes customers straight to floor tiles, wall tiles, bathtubs and more.

The full range
The shop lists the whole range on one page, with a count for each category, a search by name, code or size, and a sort. Each card shows a large photo, the tile size, the price and how it is sold (per box or each).
The page says it plainly: every price includes VAT, NHIL and GETFund.

A product page with a 3D tile
Each tile has its own page. A 3D preview is built from the tile's real size and thickness, and the customer can drag to turn it, so they see what a 600 × 1200 mm, 9 mm tile really is.
The page works out price per box and per square metre, how many tiles and how much floor a box covers, and shows stock. When online orders are paused, the page says so and still lets the customer build a cart.

One team, every branch
The contact page lists every branch with its hours and whether it is open right now, plus one phone number, WhatsApp and email. The form opens WhatsApp with the message ready to send, so the team can answer during opening hours and check stock across branches.

Find my order
Customers do not need an account to follow an order. They enter the order number or the 6-digit collection code and the phone number they used at checkout, and see where the order stands. They also get emails when the order is confirmed, ready, or on its way.
